Thanks everyone for taking the time to read my post and to pray for my family. They made it home safely from Durham at about 11:45 pm last night. My aunt and uncle ended up driving to pick them up because we couldn't get a rental car. (I spent over an hour on the phone trying to get one.) Their wrecked car is still in Durham and they aren't sure whether or not it will be "totalled". They are going to talk to their insurance company today.

My grandmother's Dr. visit went OK considering everything else that was going on. She will be going back for further testing. The Dr. may try radiation to shrink her tumors to give her some relief. She has been losing significant weight due to diarrhea and they are hoping that shrinking the tumors will alleviate this problem. Continued prayers for her would be much appreciated.

We are a very close family--my grandparents live adjacent to our land. It is amazing to me how her illness has taken a toll on all of us. We've all emotionally "aged" over the past few years.

Your thoughts and prayers yesterday helped to give me strength and relieve my stress.
